BOARD POSITION: We are looking for 2 individuals interested in joining our Board.   Here's a quick summary and some requirements for this position:

• Our non-profit hosts 4 signature events yearly, plus 3 community outreach activities. 

• This is a working board position.  

• This is a 100% volunteer, non-paid board position.

• The position will be for 1yr or longer and requires a 5-7hr monthly commitment (1-2hrs per week).  

• The 2 week window prior to and during any upcoming event or activity, your time commitment may temporarily increase. 

• Responsible for overseeing 2 committees and volunteer to work at least 1 event a year. 

• Prior board experience preferred.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

COMMITTEE POSITIONS:  We are looking for 7 individuals interested in running a committee for our non-profit.  Here's a little information about the committee positions:

• Our non-profit hosts 4 signature events yearly, plus 3 community outreach activities so we're looking for individuals interested in making a 1yr commitment.

• This is a working position that requires a 5-7hr monthly commitment.  Prior to and during any upcoming event or activity, that commitment will increase and fluctuate depending on remaining tasks.

• Volunteer to work at least 1 event a year

• Marketing Committee (2 positions), responsible for increasing brand awareness, creating marketing materials (including graphics, video marketing, email marketing and mail marketing).

• Fundraising Committee (2 positions), responsible for applying for grants, increasing sponsorship, requesting in-kind donations and being a part of all fundraising related activities.  

• Events Committee (2 positions), responsible for managing and coordinating everything required to run each event (volunteers, service providers, vendors, etc.).   Must volunteer to work the Egg Hunt and Resource Fair or the Fall Carnival and Resource Fair.   

• Outreach / Engagement / Advocacy Committee (1 position), responsible for connecting with other partners in the community, collecting and sharing information about resources.

• Committees may overlap or partner together for events or outreach activities.

VOLUNTEER AMBASSADORS POSITION:  Become an Especially Needed Brand Ambassador.  

• Do you have a high energy personality? 

• Do you enjoy meeting & talking to new people?  

• Do you love what especially needed does in the community? 

If the answer is YES, then become one of our Spirit Night Ambassadors (an Especially Needed cheerleader🥳).  As a brand ambassador volunteer at our spirit night fundraising events, you'll be a social butterfly sharing information about Especially Needed with others, plus you'll get 2 FREE Especially Needed T-shirts.  This is a non-paid volunteer position.
