Held at Miracle League Field in Frisco, over 20,000 eggs placed and we monitor the amount of children hunting so that we can ensure hunt at their leisure and get a equal amount of eggs. For the children and adults who utilize a wheelchair we provide special magnetic eggs and poles to hunt with.
Families can schedule a time to meet Santa, get their photo taken and enjoy cookies and milk, then participate in optional craft activities. The atmosphere is pleasant and accommodating.
One parent who brought her 7 year old son to meet Santa was so appreciative and happy. She said that there never seemed to be a good opportunity for her son to meet Santa because they could not wait in long mall lines due to his disability. Now she finally has a photo of him with Santa! This is what it's all about. Keeping simple things simple.
Our first fall carnival was held in October 2010 and is one of our most anticipated events. However our 2012 event was new and improved with carnival games and a petting zoo, then we wrapped up the evening with an incredible fireworks show. Our founder's favorite activity is the "Trick or Treat Street" where we decorate a portion of the field to look like a neighborhood street and the families can make their way down the path collecting candy and trinkets from our great volunteers. We bring everything to the families so that all they have to do is show up!
